If you plan on blowing your diet sky high, Fairymilk Bangsar is highly-recommended. After Richard’s haircut last night, we saw the crowd next door and couldn’t resist trying out their Oriental Snowslide bingsu. [ among other tempting menu items like that creme brulee the size of a 5-year old’s head ] Can’t believe I’m waxing lyrical about shaved ice – but this bingsu was next-level.
The base was Da Hong Pao tea-flavoured shaved ice topped with whipped cheese cream & butter crumbs. It came with jasmine grass jelly, white peach rice balls & osmanthus pearls on the side and a scoop of Tie Guan Yin tea ice cream crowned the creation. Inventive and just slightly sweet, this was a luxurious cold treat for a warm night.
