Our first dinner in Yogya last night was at Ndalem Poenakawan & it was special. The beef in my nasi daun jeruk maranggi steak tasted like wagyu & Richard's nasi goreng bumbu Bali was packed dull of flavour. The setting was a throwback to the Dutch colonial days. a beautiful old bungalow that's been repurposed as this restaurant, gallery & event space.
