If you are in Melbourne and craving Thai food, Soi 38 Melbourne might be one you would like to try. This no frills eatery is snuggly tucked in a corner at an entrance to a multilevel Carpark in Melbourne's CBD. The place seems small but looks can be deceiving and it is packed with a perpetual queue.

I was there for dinner at 6.15 pm and queued for about 20 mins before being seated. The menu is not big but packed with the quintessential Thai dishes. Since it was just the two of us, you can imagine that ‘our eyes were larger than our stomachs’!
We didn’t wait too long for our food and a dish we ordered ran out at 7 pm. So we settled for only two of orders - Ultimate Bowl and grilled beef brisket. Needless to say, we emptied everything. Servings for us was just right though some might complain that it’s a little small but guys, eating meat and noodles are filling.

Price? I’ll say it’s fair. So have a go at it if you are here.
