In my opinion, we’ve got a new sheriff (omakase) in town. It used to be Oshino, Kimura and many others (single syllable Japanese names).

But we found Sushi Oono. And it’s so authentic. I’m not even kidding. The best dish for me tonight was the snow crab from Hokkaido and the abalone in its (own) liver sauce.

Everything tonight was touching an 8/10 , 7/10 at the very least.

Doesn’t come cheap at SGD35 to SGD400 per head but the husband and wife team chef and sommelier are formidable. You’d pay for that dynamic alone.
