Street Food, Non-Halal
The place we wanted to go had closed. No choice but to look for another makan place in the building since we are there & had no clue what to eat. As we walked & browsed a few eateries, finally landed at Gerai The Food Loft Centrepoint.
So we went in & our new food hunting experience started. Look up n down, back n fort the menu, not knowing what to order as all sounds good and yummy. we settled down with the food list below after much consideration & here’s the verdict
1. Butter Chicken Rice – Hub ordered this. The butter sauce tasted aromatic and addicting. A MUST to eat with rice. A bit spicy would be good. Fried chicken pcs are tender as well.

2. Nasi Lemak Fried Rice – fried rice with fish cake and sambal. So, it’s hot and spicy when u eat as soon as it is served. Tender fried chicken with the extra crunchy rempah served by the side. The best is the sambal. Tasted sweet and salty at the beginning and spicy in the end.

3. Hainanese Curry Rice Pork Chop – My elder boy ordered this and likes it too. The pork chop is with a thick cut and has a hint of Lemongrass, he says. Cos it tasted similiar to the Lemongrass Pork Chop he ate in 1 of the Vietnamese Restaurant we went before. The Hainanese Curry tasted good, too. All ingredients served in this plate blend well.

4. Pork Chop Rice Bowl – My little bunny enjoyed eating this rice bowl. Thick slice of pork chop, Jap cucumber + tomatoe in cube, seaweed, & a fried egg before you reach the rice at the bottom. The caramelise onion sauce tasted a bit too salty. Overall, they are good. I would order this if they have the chicken version (I think they have

It’s all cold & less sweet.
1. Soya Cincau – the boys like this version of Michael Jackson
2. Barley Lime – refreshing & strong hint of lime
3. Nanyang Cham – well mixed of coffee & tea. Tasted to hubby’s liking

Went there for lunch, & it’s crowded.
SOY CINCAU – RM5
NANYANG CHAM – RM5
BARLEY LIME – RM5
PORK CHOP RICE BOWL – RM19
HAINANESE CURRY RICE PORK CHOP – RM17
