Conveniently located next to the PJS 9 staircase at the Sunway SkyBridge, Restoran Heng Heng beckoned me with its promise of delectable noodles. Eager to explore its offerings, I ventured inside and found myself greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere. After perusing the menu, my eyes settled on the dry curry wantan mee (RM7.50).

The noodles were generously coated in a rich, flavourful sauce that combined the sweetness of black sauce with the robustness of curry mee. I am glad that I ordered the dry curry option. I think I would have found the sweetness of the black sauce not to my liking. As it is, the savoury notes of the curry balanced off the sweet notes, creating a blend that I found quite acceptable.

The texture of the broad noodles was satisfactory, offering just the right amount of chewiness to contrast with the tender slices of curry chicken and succulent side order of Sui Kow (RM1.20 per piece). The wantan broth, served on the side, was a delightful addition. A cloudy concoction full of depth and flavour that added an extra layer of richness to the meal.
