I was at Taipan in the evening to run some errands and decided to have dinner at Smokehouse BBQ and Grill at Taman USJ Heights, which was 14 mins away.

I ordered the grilled perch with mashed potatoes and garden salad. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection – a bit crispy on the outside, but the flesh inside was not dry. The chunky mashed potatoes was yummy and the brown sauce on it was delicious. The garden salad had a tasty mild garlicky dressing. All in all, a good meal. I would go back again to try the other items on the menu.

I was impressed by the size of the cold water I ordered. It came in a large beer mug. I am making some dietary adjustments because I need to cut out all the added sugar. And plain water is the healthiest beverage.
