Nasi kandaq banjir at Ali Ameir Nasi Kandar. This is a taste I grew up with. My parents would bungkus this once a week for me after they go about their weekly marketing at Jelutong Market nearby.
No frills, seketui daging or ikan goreng with 2 bendi. The rice would sit in the bungkus and absorb the flavours of the kari campur. Inilah nasi kandaq!
