Sentosa Corner Coffee Shop is one of the two popular places in Bukit Mertajam where people go for yam rice, a dish that is now synonymous with this town. One of them operates from a stand-alone shop downtown and has a Michelin badge.

This stall does not have one and it is located in a coffee shop on the outskirts of town. Among the many stalls in the coffee shop, the yam rice stall attracts the most customers.

Even without the Tyreman's recognition, it enjoys bustling business every day. On almost all the tables in the premises, there will be bowls of fluffy yam rice and steaming-hot pork offal soup. Customers place their order with this friendly aunty here and make payment to her as well.

This family-run yam rice stall has been operating here for more than 30 years.
