Tucked in the serene hills of Negeri Sembilan lies a secret hideaway, Man Yun, a reservation only restaurant where guests are invited to take in the sights and sound of nature up in the hills. A peaceful escape from the city, it is not an easy drive up the single lane dirt road but once you reach the top, the air is fresh and the view so green and serene you could spend an entire afternoon there lazing in the chairs overlooking the hills.

The omu rice with teriyaki chicken was decent, accompanied by a healthy salad and a healthy vegetable soup.

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the basque burnt cheese cake was and the rozelle tea was packed with flavours thanks to the apples, red dates, longan and oranges.

A great getaway away from the city where one gets to appreciate and connect with nature. Reservations required to come here.
