Chiefeater VK uncovered a surprising find at Gerai Heritage SS15 Subang Jaya, enjoying a tender and flavorful sizzling chicken chop

Claypot Rice
Lunch at Big Eye Noodles Salak South was a bit of a mixed bag.

Although the restaurant is supposedly famous for their beef noodles, I found the “kon low” sauce to be far too sweet for my liking. However, I will say that they are generous with their portions.

The Signature Claypot Rice with chinese sausages that Jen ordered fared much better. It had a wonderful aroma and a savoury flavour profile that I found quite appealing.

We ended the meal with a bowl of dessert—the ABC Fire Snow Mountain — which was truly mountainous in size and a visual standout.

Beef Noodles (Small): RM16.90
Signature Clay Pot Rice: RM18.90
ABC Fire Snow Mountain (Dessert): RM12.90
Average Spend: About RM25 per pax inclusive of drinks
Score: 7.0/10
M – Meal Value
At roughly RM25 per head for a meal including mains, specialty drinks, and a massive shared dessert, the value is fair for a comfortable restaurant.
Score: 7.0/10
V – Venue & Vibes
The restaurant offers an air-conditioned environment though the hard walls and closely arranged tables does not make for comfortable dining.
Score: 7.0/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor was the Claypot Rice and the dramatic presentation of the Snow Mountain dessert.
Score: 7.0/10
They have a sister shop which is a double shop lot which serves tai chow offerings. So if you going for one person meals, then this is the shop.
