Thong Kee Kopitiam Puchong Roast Pork Nasi Lemak

Chiefeater VK had the Thong Kee Kopitiam Puchong Roast Pork Nasi Lemak which would have been good if the sambal was present

Western
We ordered the signature Chicky Porky Platter at Souliquid Puchong, an expansive meat board that easily filled the three of us.

The platter arrives generously stacked with crisp potato wedges, fried chicken wings, fresh salad, sauerkraut, sliced sausages, and thick-cut luncheon meat.

While the venue’s luster has softened, the food itself remains very decent. The luncheon meat was a particular high point-it was genuinely quite good, steering clear of being overly salty while managing to retain an enjoyable, substantial bite. The accompanying sausages also showed very decent quality, avoiding any mushy textures. It is a functional, quiet option for a group sharing platter when the food quality matters more than the trendiness of the room.

Good pour of Guinness. RM26.

Total: RM154.80 (inclusive of 10% Service Charge and 6% / 8% Service Tax)
Average per pax: RM51.60 (3 pax)
MVX Score: 7.1/10
M – Meal Value
At around RM51 per head for a massive meat platter that comfortably satisfies three diners alongside drinks, the basic economics of the meal perform well. The kitchen does not skimp on meat volume, making it a reliable financial choice for casual group sharing.
Score: 7.3/10
V – Venue & Vibes
The venue leans heavily into an unpretentious, quiet pub charm, though it clearly carries the wear of an older neighborhood establishment. While it lacks contemporary design sharpness, the spaced-out lounge seating offers a relaxed, pressure-free space to converse.
Score: 6.8/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor is the well-calibrated seasoning of their pub food. Serving thick-cut luncheon meat that avoids the typical salt-bomb trap while keeping the surrounding sausage elements snappy ensures the platter transcends basic bar food expectations.
Score: 7.1/10
