WAU! FISH & CHIPS is a new fish and chips eatery. WAU! THIS FISH & CHIPS REALLY MADE ME GO WOW!

I’ve been craving a good plate of fish and chips for months, and just when I least expected it, my neighbour came to the rescue with an impromptu foodie trip to WAU! Fish and Chips in Kepong. Talk about perfect timing!

And boy, did it live up to its name, WAU!

The star of the show: Tom Yum Fish & Chips!

One bite and I was blown away by the intense Tom Yum flavour! The fish was beautifully marinated and coated in that punchy, tangy goodness, topped with crispy bits that added an irresistible extra crunch.

Made with New Zealand perch, the fish was chunky, meaty and incredibly satisfying. What I loved most was the crispy batter, not overly thick or weighed down with flour, allowing the generous fish fillet to shine through with every bite. It was flavourful, crunchy and seriously filling!

The fries deserve their own spotlight!

Made from giant-sized US Russet potatoes, these fries were crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft, fluffy and almost melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Paired with their homemade roasted garlic sauce, every bite was pure comfort food heaven. That garlicky goodness was the perfect match for the golden fries!

Sometimes, the best foodie adventures come from the most unexpected invitations. After months of craving good fish and chips, this little trip to WAU! certainly hit the spot.
