Long time haven’t been back to Sai Ram Penang for their Apom Manis. Having said that, I am no regular here, but have heard of this stall which is located just outside New Cathay Kopi Tiam, Pulau Tikus. A very popular breakfast spot. This stall is reputed to be the best in Penang as has been informed.

“Best apom in Penang, courtesy of Ravindran Supramaniam and Kanchana Devi Kalimuthu. They were invited to represent the 2nd World Street Food Congress, organised by Makansutra Singapore, representing Malaysia”. End Qoute.

Today we had the special Egg Apong as well as the usual Apong Manis. Verdict : Five thumbs up (If I had five thumbs)
