Dessert, Coffee, Pork-Free
In search of a little post-lunch filler, I made my way to Artelier Coffee Pavilion Bukit Jalil (as of October 2024 - they have relocated to Pavilion Damansara Heights), a renowned spot known for its exceptional coffee offerings. But on this visit, my attention was drawn to something different. I was there for desserts.
I had a the Charcoal Matcha Roll (RM18++). It became evident that this choice was a harmonious complement to the aromatic coffee that Artelier is celebrated for. The matcha roll had a subtle bitterness from the matcha and a nice soft and fluffy texture of the roll. Plus I found the dark grey and green colours very pleasing to my eye. The interplay between the earthy notes of the matcha and the rich, aromatic coffee created a symphony of flavours that left a delightful impression.

Dining at Artelier Coffee Pavilion Bukit Jalil is not a cheap affair. The coffee was RM13++ and together with the roll, my bill came up to just a wee bit under RM36. However, the ambience of the cafe, the excellent dessert and coffee and the decently fast Wi-Fi made the price palatable.
