Char Kuey Teow, Street Food
Dajiale Kopitiam next to Chung Hwa 1 Primary Butterworth junction of jln Telaga Air / Jln Raja Uda/ Jln Permatang Pauh is One of my regular AM Breakfast Stops, where I will have the Koey Teow Thng, (Butterworth Version) or the CKT.
Kopitiam Stalls in Kopitiam that operates for long hours can be manned by 2 or even more different operators, while dishing out the same type of product may result in extremely different opinions.
as such when I found my self here at 430 pm , I had to debate my self for 5 min, before deciding yes let take the risk and try out the afternoon stall…… lets have a CKT for Tea….
I ordered in My usual Penanglang Hokkien, for my usual customise version and to my surprise replied back also in Hokkien, with confirmation of my exact order …. (Extra Spicy, Egg not fully cooked)
When the plate arrived, there were 3 big size prawns (bigger than the former 50 Sen coins), looking deliciously red, and with the egg not fully good. things are looking up, first bite … yummy and superb …. no need to ask for soya sauce…… finished it in minutes and found surprisingly some small blood cockles right at the bottom as 95% of the sellers will charge extra, or even don’t have this at all. Personally CKT with out Blood cockles is lacking that special umph…..
Worth my Carbo Consumption, will be back for more. it’s better than the morning seller.
