Dinner at Fam Dining on Johore Road this evening.

Inventive cooking from owner-chef, Sean Lim.

Started off with French dinner rolls (𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴) with 3 types of flavored butter: truffles, scallion oil and foie gras.

𝘈𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘶𝘭𝘦: chopped octopus tarte.

Appetizers
Grilled pork cheeks with corn ribs.

Pan-seared foie gras with berry compote.

Char-grilled whole Argentinian squid, served with aioli dip.

Mains
Slow-cooked Australian beef cheek, served with crisp-fried cauliflower mushroom, mashed potatoes, asparagus spear, broccoli and cherry tomato.

Grilled miso-flavored cod, served with crisped cauliflower mushroom, baby potatoes, asparagus and broccoli.

Capellini with hand-picked Indonesian crabmeat

Desserts
Valrhona chocolate lava cake a la mode, with mixed berries.

Tipsy tiramisu a la mode, with mixed berries.

Wine:
2023 Planeta Chardonnay – a rich, organic, and highly acclaimed Sicilian white wine (Menfi DOC). Aged for 11 months in French oak barrels (Allier), it displays a creamy texture, refreshing acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish.
