Decide to drop in to this nostalgia shop in Beranang Old Town, Inchum & Aziz Cafe, opposite Beranang police station. Walked in to be greeted by melodic malay songs of the 50’s and 60’s with its charming malay setting decorated and furnished by all repurposed furnitures all with stories of their own, straight away transported back by decades. Started by an artist and corporate marketing couple. Wall are decorated by some of his art pieces which looks so good that at a glance looks like printed piece.
We was thinking of having kopi O kosong just to enjoy their ambience. Was very surprise when told that their coffee and traditional biscuit are free flow on the house as complimentary as customers wait for their orders to be ready. Very nice touch.
Bihun Sup Nek Hijir soup was with good authentic malay flavour.
Bowl of crispy tofoo nek senyum serve with sambal definitely make one senyum. Name after the smiling nenek who the founder remembered from her school days in this kampung. Yum yum.
Then came the Mee Kicap Nek Kedong with sambal. Slighly on the sweet side maybe from the sweet kicap that was used.
Was further surprised by the generous founder who gave us a pack of their nasi lemak on the house to try. She is super generous.
Upon billing she insist of giving us RM4 discount from a total bill of RM34!!! The most free gifts in one seating from any where that we visited thus far free coffee, free biscuits, free music, free nasi lemak to go, free ringgit some more !!! Will drop by one night to try their Sate Komando.
Ps: tried their nasi lemak at night. It is super good, rice is of good quality and well lemak with good among of coconut santan, sambal justly nicely flavoured to compliment it. The ground nuts of good round size and fried to perfection and well salted. One of the best if not the best nasi lemak we ever eaten. I give a 5/5 for it.
