Hokkien Mee, Street Food, Non-Halal
An impromptu Visit to Penang Island, in the Morning left us hungry, and our destination is not open yet ….. and being Wesak Day a Public Holiday, (Free Street Parking) we decided at last moment to drop by at Kedai Makanan Seong Huat, Jalan Larut before continuing our journey to Sunshine Central for a Walkabout to check out what new there.
Unfortunately, due to Wesak? a number of stall were not open at 9 am. the Toast Stall, Fried Noodle Stall, KTT, Nasi Lemak stall were open.
Our Choices were Whole Meal Garlic Toast with Half Boil egg, Koey Teow Th’ng, Tai Loke Mee (KL ppl will call it hokkian mee, and Sar Hor fun.

The 3 Noodles items will rate highly for taste, though the portion as per normal Penang , were small.
Koey Teow Th’ng

Sar Hor Fun

I had the Tai Lok Mee, as I said tasty and the noodles were chewy ….. 🤔, which doesn’t remind me of the KL Hokkien Mee i had at KL china town.
