Malaysiana on a plate tonight at Limapulo Terrace, their new Alor outlet on Jalan Tong Shin.

Budget-friendly with prices under RM20 for the items we picked, the restaurant didn’t disappoint with food that was well-made and generous portions. My roti jala was fluffy in the centre, crisp on the edges & came accompanied by a nyonya-style chicken curry – one of the best I’ve had so far. Acar might’ve been nice instead of the large chunks of tomato & cucumber, but that’s just me.

Richard’s beehoon also met the mark. The sirap selasih was the flavour of childhood in a large glass.. a nod to the past on a warm evening
