Chiefeater Pat Lim had the mixed curry mee which is a combo of Penang & KL styles at Jia Li Mian Noodle House
Foochow Chow Mein, Street Food
A old school chow mein from my old neighbour, it’s Foochow chow mein style or you can say that it’s “moon mein” literally meaning fried and cooked or simmering in broth noodle. Regular is Rm5 and the one I had was Rm8 with more garnishing of fish fillets, shrimp, pork and veggies. It’s wok hei class of noodles, smoky flavour, been fried at high temperatures then cooked with the garnishing in broth. What a nice breakfast to kickstart my Monday!
