Puchong Meet You Pork Noodles is Good

I was back at Puchong Meet You to try more of the food available here, and this time Jen went for the Pork Noodles.

The basic bowl was RM11, and she added two pieces of Bentong Tau Pok at RM2 each, bringing the whole thing to RM15.

The noodles were served dry with minced pork and spring onions on top.

What worked particularly well was the sauce. Once everything was mixed together, it gave the noodles a lovely savoury seasoning without becoming too heavy.

The accompanying soup came with pork, pork balls, vegetables and the two Bentong Tau Pok.

Those tau pok turned out to be a good addition too. Unlike an ordinary empty piece of fried tofu puff, these were generously stuffed with pork filling. The fried beancurd exterior soaked up the soup while the pork filling inside gave each piece considerably more substance.

At RM2 each, I’d add them again.

Between the nicely seasoned dry noodles and those stuffed tau pok, this was another good find at Puchong Meet You. I’m gradually working my way around the stalls here, and there are still more things I want to try.

And the white coffee is good too!

RM11 for the basic Pork Noodles is already reasonable, while another RM4 added two substantial pork-filled Bentong Tau Pok. RM15 altogether made for a satisfying bowl.

V – Venue
Puchong Meet You is a large neighbourhood food court with indoor and outdoor seating and a good variety of stalls. It’s comfortable enough for a casual meal, but ultimately this is still a food court rather than somewhere you visit for the surroundings.
Score: 7.5/10

X – X-Factor
The sauce on the dry noodles was lovely, but adding the Bentong Tau Pok made the meal more interesting. The combination of soup-soaked fried beancurd and pork filling made the RM2 addition worthwhile.
