Lunch at San Ren Xing

Chiefeater Luke Soon had a pleasant dining experience at San Ren Xing which gave him the vibes of an old haunt

Roast Pork, BBQ Pork, Curry Mee, Non-Halal
Today brunch at Restoran Chicken Rice Win which is popular for their curry laksa. Their sign board reads chicken rice, but curry laksa is their main specialty. We ordered their big bowl curry laksa to be shared among us, topped with an assortment of char siew, roasted pork, fish balls, tofu pok, wantan, strips of pig skin and crispy tofu sheets. The broth was creamy, not too spicy, but a tad too salty for me.

We also had soup wantan mee with shred chicken, taste average.

We also had a side order of char siew (bbq pork) and roasted. Both tasted delicious and yummy.

Service was fast, and price was reasonable. Restaurant Chicken Rice Win has seen better days, as it was tired looking and not so clean and comfortable. Parking could be tricky at peak hours.
