Chicken Chop, Pork-Free
Lunch at an old school Hainan restaurant - Restoran Mui Fong. It's a pork free restaurant. The local Malay, Chinese Indian customers having their meals together, have a chat and a joke together in a jovial and harmonious manner.

The restaurant serves mixed rice, Hainan chicken chop, various stir fry noodles, various bread and toast. We had the chicken chop, Hainan fry noodles, fried rice and their home-made kaya and butter toast. The chicken chop with the tomato sauce gravy and topped with fries and slices of tomato, sadly to me, was average and mild in taste, so too for their fried rice and Hainan fried mee. Would have prefer a more robust and heavy taste.

Appreciate that a local friend who happened to be around paid for our lunch, so could not comment on the prices. Being right in the small town of Rembau, parking at Restoran Mui Fong could be tricky at peak hours. Service was prompt.
