Mother’s Day weekend kicks off with my First Lady & a lovely French lunch. The duck confit was fall-off-the-bone tender & mash, wonderfully buttery. Their soup du jour, a potato & leek, was outstanding as the leek flavour popped, unlike many others where the potato drowns everything. My french onion also packed a punch. The mushroom ravioli, however, was a little eggy and underflavoured. Still, a very enjoyable meal with lovely, friendly staff & great ambience. Complimentary Chupa Chups were a fun touch.
