Steak, Fine Dining
Many reviews have been singing huge praises for Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Singapore, opened at Intercontinental Singapore Nanson Road (NOT Bugis).
Few would still confuse this Wolfgang with another Wolfgang. This Steakhouse is started by Wolfgang Zwiener, while one-Michelin starred CUT at Marina Bay Sands is by Wolfgang Puck.
The original Wolfgang’s Steakhouse opened on New York City’s Park Avenue in 2004, and has since grown into an internationally renowned steak institution, with 18 branches worldwide.
Still a solid 7/10 experience during a spiffy business lunch session. I’m quite certain the last time around (2025), it would have been a 7.5/10 and/ or above experience – think it lapsed well over 3 hours.
So yes, still highly recommended – for meals spiffy and elaborate alike!
The crab cake starter was part of the set – this was well done and had copious amouts of crab lumps. 7.5/10 if you squeeze a dash of lemon on top, paired with the dressing / mayo sauce.

The lobster bisque was also part of the (base SGD45) set and was delicious and full of umami. 7/10 as well.

The Lobster Bisque was (SGD22) smooth and lightly creamer, with little pieces of lobsters sporadically. Certainly above the average, but I thought it lacked that complex flavour and distinct brandy profile to make it a really memorable broth.
The sirloin strip came medium rare (as always, for me), and delivered. 7/10 for this slab.

Reservation at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is encouraged – especially during dinner service . Lunch is arguably the more comfortable setting – if you can afford the time.
