Chiefeater Joyce Lee had dinner at Rama V Thai and found the food very delicious and yummy

Smoked Meat, Pork-Free
Our dinner tonite at Wood & Grill was really flavourful and with a well stocked menu. So much temptation. My Queen had the nyonya laksa which is a treat every bite. Such complementing combination of flavours. Generous prawns as well.

My Prince had the smoked lamb which was amazing! Tender and juicy.

I had the sirloin which was marinated well but a little tough and overcooked. Will get the chicken next time.

The smoked dishes came with 1 side and 3 sauces. My side was the chili and garam pasta which I absolutely loved. Packed with flavour and went well with the sauces.

Mike had prawn paste fried rice which was pretty good too. Our fav sauces were nyonya laksa, chili goreng if u like it spicy and lemak laksa if u like lemak. We also had black pepper for the steak, which was ok and sweet and sour sauce which was a miss for me. Too sweet.
We then shared a sago gula melaka, which had just the right gula melaka and santan. Prices not too bad but it’s worth the trip to Wood & Grill.
