Chiefeater David Ng and his wife were once again food searching in KL, and found a delightful eat at Masala Mansion

La Mian, Pork-Free
After movie with some extra time in hand we walked out of KLCC and turned right towards Wisma Central an old complex which houses offices on top and small shops on the ground floor. Once you walked in you be greeted with 70s and 80s vibes. Shops were mainly closed on a Sunday with only a few outlet opened. We stumbled upon this Northern China outlet call China Musa Ramen. I read a positive reviews on its noodles so decided to give it a try.
We had a bowl of Beef Ramen at RM16+ and an order of BBQ beef skewer at RM8 per set of two skewers. When I first tasted the broth of the ramen it was lack of body and short in flavour which didn’t impress me. However as soon as we added in their chillies the taste profile completely change to be very nice indeed, we added quite a few spoonful of it eventually until the broth turned red.

The ramen is al-dente and the beef is tougher than what we normally find in chinese beef noodle shop however it taste good and enjoyble. The beef skewer is chewy with good bite to it, the bbq give it a good flavour and it go well too with their chilies.

We in Malaysia are so fortunate to be able to taste so many authentic foreign cuisines without needing to travel oversea to enjoy. If anyone are around that area do check this joint out. A staff mentioned that on week days they are mainly full with customers .
