Thai, Oyster Omelette, Non-Halal
All Thai Restaurant, is operated by a Thai lady who has endeavoured to bring authentic Thai flavours to local diners. When we arrived at about 7 pm, almost all tables were filled and we were fortunate to find a table in their al-fresco dining area.
Our culinary journey began with an order of Phad See Ew (RM22), a classic Thai stir-fried noodle dish. The dish, which translates to “stir-fried soy sauce noodles” in English, featured wide rice noodles that had been wok-fried to perfection, imparting a delightful smoky aroma and flavour known as “wok hei.”

Next up was the Or Suan (RM38)— a mouthwatering dish of Oyster Omelette served with a chili dipping sauce. Each bite revealed plump, succulent oysters encased in eggs perfectly complemented by the aromatic notes of garlic and the zesty tang of the chili sauce. It was my favourite dish of the night.

Last but not least, we indulged in a bowl of Chicken Galangal (RM30). This is a traditional Thai chicken galangal soup that is as comforting as it is flavourful. Served in a fragrant coconut milk broth infused with galangal, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves, the soup was a symphony of sweet, savoury, and spicy notes that danced across the palate with each spoonful. Tender pieces of chicken added heartiness to the dish, while the subtle heat from the Thai chilies provided a warming sensation that lingered long after the last spoonful was gone.

To complement my meal, I had two bottles of Singha beer (RM18 per bottle) — a refreshing Thai brew that served as the perfect accompaniment to our feast. With its crisp, clean flavour and smooth finish, it provided a refreshing counterpoint to the bold, aromatic flavours of the dishes.
Our bill was a decent RM160.60 for a 3 pax dinner that had exceeded expectations. We left All Thai Restaurant feeling satisfied.
