you have try loh mee and you have try curry mee but have you try both combined before? not me... until today. i saw this Luodong Cafe while searching for other cafe actually but since i haven't try luodong before, decided to go in.
once in, i was given 2 pcs laminated menu card, one for food and for beverage. was also given a marker pen too that i just tick on what i want to order and give them back the whole laminated menu. neat. i like this kind of ordering.
i order the 'curry chicken loh mee' which was at RM10.00 and i tapau the 'o lulu spicy chicken rice' at RM12.00. both were pretty good.
curry chicken loh mee. RM10.00
as when it came to me. notice top part is the curry broth while bottom is the loh broth (starch). overall quite delicious.
curry chicken loh mee - after mixing up. there's a half boiled egg and some long beans. it was very spicy! i notice some red cut chillies in it, that's why spicy i guess, coupled with the curry broth. the portion was also consider big. so full after finished it up... but can't finish the broth since too spicy.
o lulu spicy chicken rice (why the name o lulu i wonder)
i don't know what style is this but yes, it was 'black' kind of colour with the thick rich sauce. very yummy. sauce enough to put on rice to make the rice more appetising. there are some veggie... er... i think spinach in it and a whole braised egg. it was spicy all right but not as spicy as the noodles!
funny as i thought. noodles no mention spicy but was very spicy, this chicken mentioned spicy but not spicy
for drinks, i ordered 'tiramisu coffee' since i love both tiramisu and coffee. it was much more expensive than the two food dishes though - at RM15.00. anyway quite worth it as it was delicious. came with a crispy biscuit topped with choc bits. first time trying such coffee! very good! surprise to see it comes with a cruncy biscuit topped with choc bits. the server even told me that i'm suppose to dip the biscuit in the coffee to eat. well i did that but not for all bites.
comfy place with less than 10 dining tables here on ground floor but upstairs are dining areas too. cashier counter (right) and food dispenser counter (left) are seen right behind.
