Experienced the early summer menu from La D’Oro and I must say not only was the food delicious but the presentation of summer in all it’s colours of green, purple, red and brown was done so beautifully! I particularly liked the interpretation of “rain” in the form of gin and tonic flowing down a leaf on a bed of purple ajisai ravioli. It was just so pretty! Another dish had water flowing inside the plate to look like a flowing river with ferns sitting on top with frog caprese. So creative!
A very beautiful summer interpretation done in such an artful and delicious way! Can’t wait to try the autumn menu when it’s out later this year.
