Burgers, Pork-Free
If you shop around Hero Supermarket in TTDI, you would have undoubtedly pass the Woodfire KL @TTDI sign. I was curious when I saw the bright red sign and initially thought it was a pizza. Feeling a bit peckish, I went to check out the place and found this interesting burger joint serving halal burgers.
My order was the recommended smoke beef burger and boy was it good! Caramelised onions, with churchy onion bits, smoked beef slices and a large enough beef patty. It was a delightful sweet savoury taste. The only small advice I was give to the man behind the grill is to perhaps keep the burger a medium to medium well, instead of the well done one that I ate. Still good nonetheless.

I also ordered a side of curly fries and drink as they do not have combo sets. The curly fries was above average and paired with a tangy BBQ sauce. The drink was an interesting and sweet butter soda. I can safely tell you that the drink don’t look anything like the description. The closest thing I can describe it would be like an ice cream soda infused with butter flavour. I didn’t mind it but I would like to try one of their milkshakes the next time I go there. Quite often sold out.

The whole meal at Woodfire KL set me back close to MYR40ish inclusive of SST.
You can also order online and have them delivered through Beepit but like all food, it’s best eaten fresh out of the kitchen.
