Woo Pin Fish Head Noodles Kepayang New Opening

Famous Woo Pin Fish Head Noodles recently launched another outlet at Bukit Kepayang in Seremban (Oct 2024). Have visited their outlet at Taman Desa several times, and the last time visiting was a huge disappointment, but I have always believe in giving a second chance.

As the famous Chinese proverbs says "new toilet, fragrance for 3 days" ( 新尿坑, 三日香), there was a short queue when we at noon for lunch. The restaurant being newly opened was clean and neat, with air conditioning, but it was rather small in space, with small tables arranged in a tight squeeze.

We had their signature fish head noodles, fish paste noodles, fried bean curbs sheets, fried fish cake. There are several options for the fried fish head available.

The familiar fish head noodles comes in a slightly tangy milky broth, aromatic with Chinese wine, and a colorful kaleidoscope of colours. Ranging from reddish from the tomato pieces, light greenish from the preserved chinese mustard and green from the chopped spring onion. Taste did not disappoint this time around. Self service for the chopped bird's eye chilli and sambal from a small table.

Fried fish cake was fresh and bouncy, fried bean curd sheets was crispy and tasty.

They also serve set menu for breakfast, and as I have always love eggs tart and cheese tart, I ordered the last remaining 4 pieces. Skin was crispy and flaky, and most important, not too sweet. Nice.

Service was swift. Situated in a new business centre with numerous other food outlets, parking was rather difficult. Price is reasonable.
