Chinese, Non-Halal
Putien IOI Puchong doesn’t disappoint, even through food delivery. I ordered the Braised Pig Intestine, 'Ca Fen,' and Shredded Pork with Sesame Bun, and each dish was excellent. Although the three items together cost RM92 inclusive of delivery fees, the quality made it feel worthwhile. The quality begins in how their food arrives in this bag.

The Shredded Pork with the Sesame Bun (RM24) was well seasoned and akin to a chinese version of a hamburger.

'Ca Fen' is a traditional Fujian rice noodle dish, unique for its delicate, thin noodles served in a light, flavourful broth often mixed with vegetables, dried shrimp, and sometimes minced meat. The noodles are smooth, and the broth has a subtle depth, bringing warmth and a sense of nostalgia. Putien’s Ca Fen (RM30) rendition preserved this comforting quality, made it a win especially for Jen who loved every bit of it.

The Braised Pig Intestine (RM38) was the highlight. The price might seem expensive but this delicacy was prepared with utmost care. It had been thoroughly cleaned and then slowly braised to achieve a balance between tender and springy. The result was a dish that was flavorful and satisfying, with a rich taste enhanced by the slow-cooking process, which infuses it with spices and seasonings. There was a strong taste of dong gwai in the intestine which I did not mind one bit. Putien IOI Puchong prepared it just right. The intestine was neither too soft nor rubbery, providing a perfect bite.
