Discovered a lovely little cafe, La Veranda, tucked inside a furniture shop at Tanglin Mall today. The cakes looked so hearty and delish! Tried the ginger and beetroot cake which had had a thick layer of cream cheese frosting and generous pieces of ginger and nuts. The cake was so yummy and dense. Coffee too was excellent and the instagramable deco was an added bonus. Will definitely be coming back again to try their lunch menu and try their carrot cake.
