Aladin Restaurant Middle Eastern Cuisine
Post by Chiefeater GIJoe
We were amazingly transported on a magic carpet culinary adventure the moment we stepped into Aladin Restaurant, a 10 month old restaurant at USJ9.
We began our adventure with Aladin and Jasmine set out on a quest to uncover the magic of Middle Eastern flavours by ordering the flavourful Hommous, also known as Hummus, a Middle Eastern dip, spread or savory dish made from cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon juice, served with non leavened flat bread. It costs RM9.00.
As we journeyed into the Heart of Flavour, we ordered one of their main dish, a set of BBQ Quarter Chicken that comes with a choice of rice, Mandy, Mediterranean, Pilaff, Kabsa or fries. I chose Mandy. It also comes with a syrup drink at the cost of RM13.00. The chicken leg was truly succulent and tender.
Jo ordered from their main menu the Chicken Shawarma puff, that comes with a unique blend of salad and sauce at a cost of RM18.00.
As the adventure draws to a close, we indulged in the sweetest of endings desserts with the Jewels in the Pot, a masterpiece of flavour and finesse.
Oh yes at the beginning we were served with a cup of Hibiscus drink, called Anab, which was on the house.
