Garden Lebanon Restaurant Middle Eastern Meal
Middle Eastern, Pork-Free
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater David Quah enjoyed a lovely Middle Eastern cuisine meal at Garden Lebanon Restaurant Tanjung Bungah
Nasi Goreng, Pork-Free
A visit to Akas Vilas led to a plate of Nasi Goreng Ayam Varuval, a dish that delivered bold flavours and a satisfying spice kick. The fried rice was deeply aromatic, infused with a rich blend of spices, caramelised onions, and fresh herbs, giving it a distinct depth of flavour. Each bite carried smoky wok hei, punctuated by the warm notes of kayu manis (cinnamon) and curry leaves, adding a fragrant complexity.
The ayam varuval—a South Indian-style dry-spiced chicken—was flavourful and well-seasoned, though slightly on the tougher side. Despite the tough texture, the robust spice coating made up for it, ensuring that each mouthful was packed with intense, savoury goodness.
Our meal for the two of us (one plate of nasi goreng, 2 fried eggs and 2 drinks) came up to RM15.30
