I admit I’m among the handful of islanders who haven’t purchased Apong Guan pancake for years. If memory serves, my last purchase was when my father was still living, in the late 1970s. I ceased buying it because I detest waiting in line for food, particularly snacks or dessert! And today I made a purchase because there was no queue, and I hadn’t sampled his son’s baking previously.
