Bancone Covent Garden Michelin Experience
Pasta, Non-Halal
Description
Post by Chiefeater Stan21
The first thought of a Michelin grade restaurant meant that we had to dig deeper into our pocket. We were at Covent Garden, London and made our way to this eatery, Bancone Covent Garden. The shop facade was very welcoming, wide open doors and the atmosphere was relaxed but busy with diners. We quickly made our way to the table, set down and studied the menu.
The menu was not extensive and featured simple handmade pasta dishes. We ordered their famous silk handkerchief pasta and we were not disappointed. It was really simple but so flavourful and smooth. I would make my way back for another place whenever I'm there, for sure!
So for those of you living in the UK, have a go at this place and tell us what you think. Please remember that you have to make reservation lest you risk being turned away like what I've witnessed while seating there waiting for our food. But the best part about it is that it was a truly affordable meal, even by Malaysian standard.
