The best Fish & Chips for a long long time 👍🤗😋. Battered Fish & Chip Co. will be my go-to place for fish&chips from now on

My ideas of good fish & chips
Fish:
1. Fillet is thick
2. Steam hot when broken

Batter:
1. Crispy (remain crispy throughout, even with the squeeze of lemon)
2. Audible crunch when bitten
3. Light golden colour
4. Not thick and doughy

Chips:
1. Chunky
2. Crispy outside
3. Soft fluffy inside
4. Not greasy

Sauce:
1. Homemade Tartare sauce (not store bought)
2. Malt vinegar and salt (absolute must)

On the side:
1. Battered dill pickles.
2. Lemon wedge

Note:
Chili sauce and tomato ketchup is an absolute No-No!
