For Penangites, we always go to our neighbourhood spot for whatever hawker food we want, unlike foreign or interstate tourists who seek out the famous hawkers. For Hokkien mee, Penangites in Bayan Baru will head to Bobo kopitiam, those in Sia Boey go to Keo Thau/Bridge Street, those in Burmah Rd will go to Super Hokkien Mee in One Corner Cafe, whereas Pulau Tikus denizens opt for Lean Huat Hokkien mee at Swee Kong kopitiam.
Those of us in Batu Lanchang will inadvertently come here to Batu Lanchang Food Stalls Complex for our Hokkien mee fix.
