Recently dined at the Tanzen, a small cozy Chinese restaurant located at Millerz Square. Children wanted to give me a treat so we decided to give this restaurant a try after noting the good review on this place. Reservation was made earlier as it tends to be crowded on Saturday night.
There was ample parking at the basement and we were quickly ushered to our table. Ordered the Pineapple Mango Fried Fish, Stir Fried Ginger Chicken, Braised Eggplant with Garlic Sauce and Stir-Fried Bitter Gourd with Eggs.
The Pineapple Mango Fried Fish (Tilapia) was refreshing with it sweet and tangy sauce. Stir Fried Ginger Chicken was delightfully well done and gave a very aromatic fragrant scent.
Stir Fried Bitter Melon with Eggs was also expertly prepared where the bitterness of the bitter gourd was tamed and it paired well with the soft fluffy eggs. Braised Eggplant was full of flavor with the eggplant complementing the pork and a nice flavor of sauces.
Overall, a nice enjoyable dinner. At time of our visit many tables were occupied by families having the dinner. Prices are a bit on the higher side.
