Chicken Chop, Non-Halal
You thought there would be no chicken chop post this week, didn’t you? Well, I could not disappoint you could I. Don’t want also here it comes. Puchong is blessed with much good street food but there are also some excellent cafes around. One of them is Bistro Monologue which is at far reaches of Puchong.
Bistro Monologue is one of the 3 best places to go for a chicken chop in all of Puchong. And bear in mind, Jalan Puchong stretches for almost 25 km and I am declaring it in MY top 3 (the other two are the ones at Ground Eatery and Luckee Canteen).
The chicken chop at Bistro Monologue comes in 2 varieties: Classic or Spicy Mediterranean. Both are good and are priced at RM20.90. Both are well grilled and well seasoned. Both meats are tender and succulent. Just that one is slightly spicier. No prizes for guessing which one.

The classic chicken chop comes with mashed potato and mushroom sauce. The spicy chicken chop comes with fries and slaw and a thick spicy sauce. The mashed potato is really made for the classic. Don’t make the mistake I made by switching the fries to mash. Why? Because the mash is somewhat bland and only comes to perfection (hahaha. Too strong a word) when it’s doused with the sauce.
And for the month of October 2022, there’s another goodie. The spicy chicken chop is only RM16.92!!!!! Where to find such a good deal???? Only in Puchong!
For those of you who don’t live in Puchong, doesn’t it make you envious of us living in Puchong?
