Chiefeater VK had char siew rice and chilled spicy chicken delivered from Ming Kee Porridge Puchong for lunch
A visit to Borenos Alamesra was a chance to try their fried chicken at their home town, comparing it to my experience at their Puchong branch.
The breast meat I had this time was surprisingly a bit tough, lacking the same tenderness I had enjoyed in Puchong. However, the drumstick was a different story—it was tender and juicy, delivering the satisfying bite that Borenos is known for.
Despite the inconsistency in texture, the flavours remained strong, with that signature crispy, well-seasoned coating. While the breast meat could have been better, the overall experience was still enjoyable, and it was interesting to see how the original location compared to its outstation counterpart.
This was a lovely wall that reflected positive values.
