Moo Point Steaks Penang served an excellent rump cap and beautifully marbled Wagyu sirloin in an intimate Hutton Lane setting

Noodles, Non-Halal
Went to explore a new makan place, Cha Don Kopitiam, that we often pass by whenever we are at Bandar Menjalara. Cozy feel kopitiam with music playing. Crowded and a bit noisy cos everyone’s talking. It’s our 1st time here, so we ordered food that’s labelled with Signature.
Signature Lamb Noodles @ RM17.90 – Opt for Kuey Teow. Soup based was ok, slightly light and lack of that “lamb” flavour. The lamb meat is slightly less tender. Perhaps will need slow-cooking to tenderise it.

Signature Curry Mee @ RM12.90 – Opt for Kuey Teow & Mee Hoon witjout Bean Sprout. This is awesome. The curry has a strong coconut milk fragrance, but dont tasted too coconut. Flavourful and spicy curry. I don’t even need to add in sambal. The curry chicken meat is tender and soft. The taupok are fully soaked with the curry and tasted good. Only the long beans are a bit hard. Overall, I love this version of Curry Mee.

Signature Handmade Yam Balls @ RM10.90 – I’m expecting to have the Hakka Yam Abacus Seed texture. But the texture is like Tong Yuen that goes with sweet & spicy sauce, sesame seed and fried onion (like Chee Cheong Fun). It does goes will with the Curry though.

Signature Hailam Cham @ RM5.20 each – Tasted ok. Suit our cham tastebud

Overall, for our 1st visit with the choice of food we ordered are good. Service are good as they are attentive
