Hono Omakase is Theatrical
Japanese, Omakase
Chiefeater Luke Soon considers Hono Omakase one of the most theatrical omakase experiences in Singapore

Western, Pork-Free
I’m not a pastry fan but I do enjoy good coffee and my English Breakfast and Lapsang Souchongs over the years. The KL family esp Chiefeater Maya has been an avid cafe connoisseur and has been introducing to us to over 10+ such eclectic locations in PJ alone, and this time she brought us to Contour in PJ’s Old Town.
Contour is home to four-time Malaysia Barista Champion, Jason Loo, who also co-owns Yellow Brick Road. His accolades fuelled the anticipation surrounding the cafe, raising expectations—particularly for its coffee. Unsurprisingly, when Contour first opened, it drew in long queues of eager customers
I can vouch for the coffee – their Ethiopian, Kenyan roasts are fragrant.
The pastries are top notch as well, and specifically their freshly baked breads.

The Focaccia in particular was excellent. Again, I’m not a discerning bread lover but it’s good enough to get me interested

Total damage RM161 for 5 drinks and 4 pastries.
