Steamed Fish, Chinese, Non-Halal
Calling all Steamed fish lovers! You have got to try this place in Section 17. Da Shi Xiong Section 17 located within Kedai Kopi Yun Kei. They both share the same address because Da Shi Xiong is a tenant at this coffee shop. Look for Kedai Kopi Yun Kei on Google Maps or click the map link below. Otherwise you will get taken to some other place in Sg Buloh.
They are famous for their VERY FRESH Steamed Fish. They also serve simple and no-frills dishes like steamed eggs, beancurd and vegetables. Their menu is kept simple and their selection of dishes are healthy. The pork bone soup here is also very good, and heartwarming. The steamed egg here is done to perfection with a wobbly effect (with the right amount of water portion and fresh AAA grade eggs)
The stall only serves seven star grouper (chat sing pan), dragon grouper (loong fu pan), tilapia and river catfish (pak su kong). Everytime I eat here, the fish meat is always fresh and firm.
Look for this coffeeshop – Kedai Kopi Yun Kei when hunting for Da Shi Xiong. It’s located at a corner shop lot and just opposite Seventeen Mall.
