Pork Rib, Non-Halal
Lunch at the beautiful, Michelin select Blue Elephant. The jaw-dropping home to the Blue Elephant, that began operations here in 2010. Built-in 1903 by Phra Pitak Chinpracha, a prominent Chinese tin baron and one of Phuket’s wealthiest and most influential figures during the tin mining boom, the mansion stands as a testament to the Chinpracha family’s instrumental role in shaping Phuket’s economic landscape during the early 20th century.

We had mains of 24-hr marinated organic pork ribs with Khao Kua I-sarn chili dip, Budu papaya salad & sticky rice – and the Ka-Pow lamb chops with quinoa & riceberry garlic fried rice.

For dessert, a coconut creme caramel with a pretty little egg yolk marigold. Being a cooking school as well, the Blue Elephant’s offerings lived up to the hype today. I don’t use the word “delicious” often, but I will this time. It really was.
