Hachiban Izakaya Kelawai Road Dinner

Chiefeater Paula Tan had a delicious izakaya dinner at Hachiban Izakaya Kelawai Road and summed it up simply as oishi

Was driving in Kepong on one Sunday when came across this café named Dong Tai Kopitiam in the Light Industrial area of Kepong. Quite a decent crowd was waiting for tables. Took our number and waited.
We were ushered in at about 20 minutes and proceeded with our orders. Ordered the Traditional Curry Noodles, the Tomyam Noodles, Crispy Fried wonton and Soup Wanton. For drinks I adopted for the Dong Tai White Coffee and Dong Tai Cham.
The Curry Noodles was average when compared to the other more traditional establishments in Pudu and Sg. Besi. The Tomyam Bihun was flavorful but a bit dry while the Wontons was okay. However the coffee was really good and superb. The coffee really got me going for the weekend.
The environment is big with the walls decorated with murals. The food was served pretty fast and the staff were all organized and efficient. The ambience was nice. air conditioned and the crowd added a family like easy going Sunday.
