Pork Brisket Noodles, Non-Halal
On an earlier visit to Jalil Perkasa, I noticed the opening of eJia Kopitiam Bukit Jalil, a name that caught my attention since it originally hails from Port Dickson. Chiefeater Paula Tan had written about their PD outlet here. Sold by her report of good value, I decided to stop by one day for lunch.
I ordered try their signature Pork Brisket Noodle (RM12.60), choosing lai fun as my noodle base. The dish looked quite appetizing when it arrived, with the pork brisket well-presented. However, I found it a bit less warm than I would have liked, which slightly diminished the overall enjoyment. And no, I didn’t spend 20 minutes snapping photos before eating! I fed this back to the waiter and he said that’s how they serve it. I also found the taste of the dish to be on the bland side.

To wash it down, I had a calamansi drink (RM6.50), a refreshing option to balance the meal. For a total of RM19.10, eJia Kopitiam Bukit Jalil is not a bad spot for lunch. The air-conditioned setting also added to the comfort, making it a pleasant stopover for a midday break. I would agree that they do offer good value.
